Update
In April 2008, the son of the founder and creator of MIDNIGHT IN CHICAGO was diagnosed with an incurable life threatening rare and complex neuromuscular auto-immune disease that strikes 1 in 500,000 children. The last awareness/fundraising event was held in July 2008. Since then, all events have been put on hold while Elyse deals with her son's illness as he continues to suffer with declining health.
Elyse and a group of dedicated volunteers continue to create awareness and education videos on Autism Spectrum Disorders, Myasthenia Gravis and other disabilities as well as presentations on the subject of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Myasthenia Gravis and other disabilities.
We appreciate the support our followers have given us over the months and we remind people that even though we have put our awareness/fundraising events on hold for an indefinite period of time for good reason, you can still donate to your local not-for-profit organization by contacting them directly.
